This is primo condemental that is extremely smooth and creamy with smoke so thick you can eat it. I do enjoy this from time to time, but it is not really that great of an achievment in tobacco blending. But hey We all need some "Alone Time" now and then. I smoke mostly Aromatics and got this as a free sample. It remained smooth and cool throughout while the spiciness of the Turkish and the sweet underpinings of the Cavendish also made their presence known. Highly recommended for lovers of Latakia: over 75% and yet not over powering. A brownie of cyprian latakia - 70% (!) I absolutely love this stuff; it is smooth, dark, full and creamy. I am very glad I did. On the other hand if you like heavy Latakia blends then this may be for you. In the past, I wasn't much of a Balkan/Latakia smoker, but this blend convinced me that I ha d been missing a lot. This is a superb blend of all those who experienced latakian mixtures. It lit ok and burned fairly well. I am a Latakia lover. The Cavendish tries now and again, but about all it can seem to muster is to have a slight sweetening effect on the Latakia. After smoking this I have since went back to an easier smoking blend an d I felt cheapened by the lighter smoke. I guess a lot of the smell comes from the turkish as well, its like a battle between the latakia and the turkish in the smell, but in taste the latakia wins, of course. Note: not for young smokers - this tobacco requires however some experience! As an additional note, this does have an appreciable nicotine hit for a lat blend, so those smitten with lat, but also requiring more nicotine, may find this to be the perfect solution. But Pirate Kake is definitely in that ball park IMHO. Just received it in the mail. I thought that such a high volume of Latakia would overpower the blend but not so. Thanks C&D!
